Bookish is the startup of Tansley that operates in the book industry, a market worth over 2.8 billion euros in Spain, which has been experiencing constant growth over the past 10 years.
Founded in 2017 as a literary subscription service, Bookish quickly positioned itself as one of the most recognized voices in the publishing scene by selecting the perfect book for its community of readers every month.
The company joined Tansley in 2022 with the goal of creating both physical and online reference spaces where books can be found, discovered, and experienced.
Three years after becoming part of the group, in addition to its original subscription model, Bookish now integrates three of the largest and most iconic bookstores in Spain (Alibri / Herder, Caselles, and Lé), an e-commerce platform with over 250,000 titles (www.bookish.org), a mobile app, and has created Europe’s first major literary festival, Crush Fest. Over the years, it has evolved into an expanding ecosystem within the publishing sector.
Despite this growth, Bookish and its team remain impact in their belief: life is better with books.
